Design & Layout

The conversion process involved careful planning and collaboration between dental professionals and automotive specialists. The interior of the Sprinter was meticulously designed to include all the necessary equipment for dental examinations, cleanings, and basic treatments. The layout was optimized to maximize space while ensuring a comfortable and efficient workflow for the dental team.

• Dental Chair and Examination Area: The van is equipped with a fully functional dental chair, allowing for comprehensive examinations and treatments.
• Sterilization Center: A dedicated space for sterilizing instruments ensures compliance with strict hygiene standards.
• Storage and Cabinetry: Custom storage solutions were implemented to organize dental tools and supplies efficiently.
• Wall Divider with Built-in TV: To enhance the patient experience, a wall divider with an integrated TV provides entertainment and distraction during dental procedures, creating a more comfortable environment.
• Solar Panels: The roof of the Mercedes Sprinter is equipped with solar panels, harnessing the power of the sun to generate energy. On a sunny day, these panels can produce 7 watts per hour, contributing to the overall sustainability and energy efficiency of the mobile dental clinic.
• Autonomous AC Unit: A rear-space autonomous air conditioning unit ensures a climate-controlled environment for both the dental team and patients, regardless of external conditions. This feature adds to the overall comfort and functionality of the mobile clinic.
• Extra Power Capacity: The van is equipped with six additional batteries (200 amps per hour each). This surplus power capacity ensures a reliable energy supply for all dental equipment and the various technological features integrated into the van.
• Sunwave Inverters: The inclusion of Sunwave inverters, supporting both 110 and 220 volts, allows for seamless operation of dental equipment and electronic devices, accommodating different power requirements.
• Compressor: A built-in compressor enhances the capabilities of the mobile dental clinic, supporting various dental tools and equipment that require compressed air.
• Dental Vacuum: The incorporation of a dental vacuum system ensures efficient suction during procedures, maintaining a clean and sterile environment within the clinic.
• Water Supply System: The van features a sophisticated water supply system with two tanks—one for clean water and another for wastewater. This system facilitates the necessary water supply for dental procedures while managing wastewater responsibly.
• Shore Power Outlet Socket: For flexibility in power sources, a shore power outlet socket is installed, allowing the van to connect to external power when available, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
• Retractable Step Bar: A retractable step bar facilitates easy entry and exit from the mobile dental clinic, providing convenience for both the dental team and patients.
• Camera with Internet Connection: A camera system with internet connectivity enables remote consultations, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and the potential for educational outreach.
• WiFi Connectivity: The van is equipped with WiFi connectivity, enabling seamless communication, record-keeping, and access to online resources, enhancing the efficiency of the dental team.
